What is evaluation?  Why is it important for social change leaders to incorporate evaluation into their work?  We dive into these questions and more in this episode where we talk with Ann Price, President of Community Evaluation Solutions, an evaluation consulting firm. Much of Ann’s work involves supporting community coalitions and nonprofits to measure and evaluate projects with a focus on systems change. She has a podcast, Community Possibilities and her book with co-author Dr. Susan Wolfe, Community Consulting: A Practical Guide to Collaborating with Communities is due out in 2023. More about Dr. Ann Price

Dr. Ann Price is President of Community Evaluation Solutions, an evaluation consulting firm she founded in 2004. Much of Ann’s work is with community coalitions and nonprofits with a focus on systems change. Ann and her team conduct evaluations in many areas including youth substance abuse prevention, youth development, foster care advocacy, education, and public health. She conducts training throughout the country on coalition development, coalition evaluation, evaluation use and evaluation capacity. She has a podcast, Community Possibilities and her book with co-author Dr. Susan Wolfe, Community Consulting: A Practical Guide to Collaborating with Communities is due out in 2023.
